‘ORCHI’, is an organisation of an assemblage of dedicated people, aspiring to serve the underprivileged withtheir limited means. ORCHI defines the flame of that celestial fire which comes out of the cry of humanity to support humanity with every bit of human face in it!
Back in 2003 a few dedicated young minds wereeager to lend helping hands to the underprivileged section of our community, with limited resources at their disposal, except a dream and determination to realize the dream.
Thus was born 'ORCHI' that has taken up the challenge to serve the society for betterment. Since the last 15 years, we have been dedicatedly working towards child education, health awareness programs, sustainable environmental programs, and awareness about social justice to women, vocational training programs, social campaigns against cyber crimes etc. through various initiatives.
Our Mission
'ORCHI' is committed to provide sustainable development to the underprivileged, vulnerable population of the society living in difficult circumstances by acting as a facilitator through community development even with a smaller aid of every step needed. Women and children are same in the underprivileged rung of the society - most vulnerable, dependent, active, full of hope, life and vigour. It is their surroundings that as a matter of fact control their lifestyles. The mission is to make a difference in their lives, in whatever small capacity it might be.
Our Vision
'ORCHI' embodies a vision to reach out to the crying souls, support them as much as we can, motivate them to dream a life of dignity and strive for it. It aims to:
- Ensure quality of life for the most vulnerable section of the society;
- Ensure rights of children specially their education;
- Empower women through social and economic development;
- Support local institutions working for underprivileged children and their families by providing technical and capacity building assistance;
- Sensitize local administration / Government with issues related to health, education, protection needed for community and thus developing a relationship between the Government and community at different levels;
